Focus on the Apps for Learning and Tools for Teachers areas. These have apps that are targeted more closely towards curriculum content or engaging learning with subject content.
TeachThought, the diverse website for teachers, has regular posts regarding the latest apps and their integration in the classroom. The apps are particularly blended learning apps for iPad (most, but not all are available on Android as well) are a purposefully diverse bunch, including Whiteboard apps, mirroring apps, learning management systems, screen capture software, and video creation tools for teachers and students, all to help jumpstart your move to a blended learning–and mobile learning–classroom.
The 4D apps for iPad work very well, especially on the newer versions with greater memory. Anatomy 4D is a real favourite with students and teachers, due to the animations built in e.g. the ability to turn the heart values on and off is interesting.
Apple also has a specific lesson plans section on their website. Click the image below to check it out.
